Terms of Sale

October 25, 2026

These terms apply when you buy from jamesselwynphotos.com. The seller is James Selwyn, trading as James Selwyn Photos, New Zealand. Contact: [email protected] or 021 131 1890.

Prices and payment

All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST. Payment is made through PayPal, which also accepts most credit and debit cards. Any shipping cost is shown at checkout before you pay.

Digital downloads

Downloads are available straight after payment and from your account. Please check the size before you buy: web sizes are not print quality, so choose the Print Quality Download if you want to print.

Every download comes with the licence set out on the Copyright & Image Use page: personal use, your own social media with credit, and (for the driver or team pictured) sharing with your sponsors to promote your car or team. Copyright stays with James Selwyn.

Prints, canvas, books and other products

Physical products are made to order. Small or low-value print orders are usually sent weekly from the date payment is received. Larger items can take longer, and I'll let you know if there's a delay. Please check your delivery details carefully. If the wrong address or shipping option is chosen, a fee may apply to resend. Colours can look slightly different in print than on screen.

Problems, returns and refunds

If something arrives damaged or faulty, or isn't what you ordered, contact me and I'll repair, replace or refund it. Refunds aren't given for a change of mind on digital downloads or made-to-order products. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Photo packages

For pre-paid driver and team photo packages, copyright in all photos stays with James Selwyn and you receive the licence above for the photos supplied, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Privacy

How your details are used is explained on the Privacy & Cookies page.
